Medicare Part C is another Medicare health plan that covers hospital insurance, and other Medical Insurance needs to be offered by private entities like HMO or PPO Insurance. These Medicare advantage plans also offer extra coverage for vision, hearing, and dental or health programs.
Some plans include Medicare prescription drug coverage as well.

Who Is Eligible For These Plans?
Generally speaking, Medicare Advantage is ready and useful for people who are 65 years old and those even younger if they have disabilities. This also applies to applicants that have End-Stage Renal Disease. Medicare Advantage has two parts. These are as follows:

• Part A or Hospital Insurance

You will be eligible for waiving premiums for Part A if you're 65 years or younger and you and your spouse worked and paid taxes for Medicare for at least 10 years. Here are other criteria as follows:

• You receive retirement benefits from Social Security or the Railroad Retirement Board.
• You are eligible for Social Security or other retirement benefits that you have not applied for yet.
• If Medicare already covers you or your husband or wife through your government employment agency

If you pass any of these criteria, you will surely be able to get Medicare advantage benefits right away. You have to apply for it as soon as possible.

Certain medical conditions qualify you for disability benefits and Medicare Advantage plans. These are as follows: 

• If you are a kidney dialysis or a kidney transplant patient
• If you have Lou Gehrig's Disease
